AO Anarchy Online Hints & Tips


Here are some useful hints and tips from Anarchy Online:
  • You can regain Health/Nano-Points (the points used to run nano-programs) by using Treatment Laboratory and Nano Recharger kits, or Coils of Health and Nano Energy in Shadowlands. Simple First-Aid Kits and Spirit-Aid Spindles can be used while fighting.
  • Press TAB key to cycle through selected enemies. CTRL+TAB selects characters who are on your 'side'.
  • The best and safest way to gain Experience Points is to team up with others and go for a hunt.
  • To open locked Treasure Chests and doors, you need a lockpick. You can buy one in the Startup shop or Tool shops. Right-click the lockpick on the object you want to unlock. (HINT: If you fail, try again!)
  • To view information about an item, person, skill etc., hold SHIFT+left-click on it.
  • Use the "/afk" command to inform people who send you 'tells' that you're away from the keyboard at the moment. Re-type the command to turn 'afk' off when you come back.
  • If you target (select) an NPC, it will listen to what you say in Vicinity Chat.
  • You can change side in the conflict by using an Application Form, found in the shops. Changing sides does have some penalties - you lose any tokens you may have collected from your side.
  • To display your Omni-Tek Awards or Clan Merits to others, equip your Omni-Tek Award board or Clan Merit board in your neck slot, and right-click it. The award or merit board will display above your shoulders.
  • You can send a private message to a player using "/tell " in the chat.
