Alien Invasion is the name of the upcoming 3rd expansion for Anarchy Online. It is set to be released in September of 2004. The premise of the expansion is that a hostile alien race has invaded Rubi-Ka and the people of Rubi-Ka must unite to fight off the invasion.

Alien invasions will take place automatically throughout the game, and the size of the attack will depend on the number of players in that area. The more players there are, the bigger the attack will be. There will also be a boss alien which when defeated will allow players to board the alien spaceship and acquire rare loot.
